National Brokerage Consortium University (NBC University), was founded in 2003 with the sole purpose of educating members of the National Brokerage Consortium in the methods of building and managing a life brokerage general agency.

The list of NBC University instructors reads like a who's who of the life insurance industry. NBC University held its first graduation in 2007 in Washington, DC, awarding Bachelor of Brokerage Management degrees to 31 students.

Distinguished professors have included: S. Reed Ashwill, Bernard Vukelich, Robert LaBonte, Jim Ash, Johnny Johns, Hans Carstenson, Jerrell Clay, Susan DePue, and Andy Steed.
